These Terms & Conditions (often just called "Terms") lay out the rules for using our site and services. They cover everything from reading articles to submitting your own work or making payments.

Think of these Terms as a simple agreement between you and ZHSSRH. By accessing or using zohumanities.com, you agree to follow them. If you don't like any part, please don't use our site. We're an India-based organization focused on advancing humanities and social research through open access publishing.

1. Who Can Use Our Site

You must be at least 18 years old to use zohumanities.com. If you're under 18, get help from a parent or guardian. We don't allow accounts for kids without adult supervision.

2. Your Account and Responsibilities

  • Registration: To submit articles, review papers, or access certain features, you'll need to create a free account in OJS. Provide accurate info like your name, email, and affiliation (e.g., your university).

  • Security: Keep your login details safe. You're responsible for anything that happens on your account. Tell us right away at support@zohumanities.com if you spot unauthorized use.

  • Your Conduct: Be respectful. Don't spam, harass others, or post illegal stuff. You agree not to:

    • Upload viruses or harmful code.

    • Try to hack or disrupt the site.

    • Use our content for commercial gain without permission.

We can suspend or delete accounts that break these rules.

3. Submitting Content

  • Manuscripts and Reviews: When you submit articles, reviews, or comments, you promise it's your original work, not plagiarized, and doesn't infringe copyrights. Follow our journal guidelines for formatting and ethics.

  • Article Processing Charges (APCs): Some journals charge APCs to cover publishing costs. These are non-refundable once processing starts, but we'll confirm fees upfront.

  • Licensing: By submitting, you grant ZHSSRH a non-exclusive license to publish your work under Creative Commons (e.g., CC BY) for open access. You keep your copyright but allow free sharing with attribution.

We review submissions for quality and ethics but can't guarantee publication.

4. Payments and Transactions

  • Via Razorpay: All payments (like APCs or subscriptions) go through Razorpay, our secure payment gateway. You agree to their terms too—check razorpay.com/terms.

  • Refunds: Generally, no refunds for digital services, but we'll handle disputes fairly per Indian consumer laws. Contact us within 7 days of payment.

  • Taxes: Prices include GST where applicable. You're responsible for any extra taxes in your country.

5. Our Content and Intellectual Property

  • Ownership: ZHSSRH owns the site design, logos, and OJS setup. Published articles belong to their authors, but we host them openly.

  • Your Use: Feel free to read, download, and share articles for non-commercial, educational purposes—with proper citation. Don't republish without author permission.

  • Trademarks: "ZHSSRH" and "zohumanities.com" are our trademarks. Don't use them without written approval.

6. Links to Other Sites

Our site might link to external resources, like Razorpay or other journals. We're not responsible for their content, privacy, or security. Use them at your own risk.

7. Disclaimers and No Guarantees

  • Availability: We try to keep the site up 24/7, but downtime happens for maintenance or issues. No promises on perfect uptime.
